Weekend Schedule for the 8th Annual CIDBF

Saturday, August 13, 2005
Preliminary Races to be held for all registered teams. Teams will
race for advancement in their division and will participate in
at least two races.
Sunday, August 14, 2005
Qualifying races, eliminations and final races to determine winners
in the following divisions:
- Competitive A
- Competitive B
- Recreation A
- Recreation B
- Youth
Teams will race in at least three races over the entire weekend.
Race Course
The races will be held in the Oakland Estuary with marshalling
in Jack London Square (Broadway & 2nd Street). Race courses are
500 meters long and each heat will consist of 3-4 boats. Estimated
time between heats is 10 minutes.
Race Fees
$1,000 - Basic Team Registration
$1,000* - Community Service Team Registration
(*$250 service rebate provided
after event)
$1,500 - Corporate Team Registration Package
$300 - Visiting Team Registration Package

Facilities
On-Site Facilities
Racer's Village, the area for racers and their tents, is the big
grassy field next to the Waterfront Hotel. Please note that racers
are NOT allowed to set up in the Main Square. Jack London Square
offers a number of restaurants and festival vendors will also be
available for a delectable smorgasbord of food for all palates.
Off-Site Facilities
Located in the heart of Oakland, Jack London Square is minutes
away from a wealth of activities. Special discounts on parking,
