Artists' Alley
Artists Alley is devoted to regional artists who are willing to
demonstrate their art form at the festival. It is predominantly
an educational project with the expressed intent to de-mystify
art and the creation of art so as to increase the publics' art
appreciation. Since artists are not charged a fee, this is not
a sales area (see Vendors section for an opportunity to sell your
merchandise). Artists are permitted, however, to lecture and promote
their business over the 2-day weekend.
Conceived in 1996, we continue to offer the only interactive,
cross-community, and multi-generational project in the region.
As our community base increases, your participation will help
us showcase the best of our region's artistic talent. Positioned
as an international project with the international sport of dragon
boating as a backdrop, your participation can help our festival
come alive with color and sounds.
